[+1,900] I normally caution against siding with the company, but I feel bad for the CEO in this case. I hope this all gets resolved amicably. The members need a wake up call because one hit song is not all it takes to make it in this industry.
[+1,400] I honestly don't see much star potential in the members themselves. They lucked out with a good song. They should be putting their trust in their company that landed them such a song and give it a few years, maybe get another hit under their belt, build their fame up, before doing anything else. I think they're riding off the high of their newfound fame, and it definitely seems like some external forces got into their heads. It wasn't long ago that they did an interview where they were asked about any concerns they had being from a smaller company, and they confidently said that they were working on a gerat foundation. Currently, their actions seem to be the opposite of that. Both agency and artists should have some more trust in each other.
[+940] So they want out because they're claiming it's been so hard for the past seven months, but they don't think it's going to be hard everywhere else? You should show more loyalty to the people who got you a hit song. Behaving like this is going to make you lose any domestic fans you have left in this country... unless promoting overseas is your goal. Farewell, I suppose.
[+656] This is the first time I'm feeling bad for the CEO... please fighting...
[+562] I'd rather stick with the company that trained my skills and help them grow into a company like Hybe than take my chance with the competition and end up no where.
[+522] It takes so much for a small agency like theirs to train a group to this level.. don't be like this...
[+427] So unfortunate and frustrating. Fifty Fifty has more worth as a group than as individuals, and I don't think the members see that. Their fame is largely based off of their company's eye for picking concepts and songs... How could they think to kick their own luck out the door instead of taking it as an opportunity to grow more?
[+407] I hope the CEO hits even more daebak with a different group instead ㅠㅠ I know he has the eye for making it big, it doesn't need to be Fifty Fifty ㅠㅠ
[+372] This is just wrong to do towards the man that raised you ㅠㅠ once you ruin your image like this, I don't think you can recover it back in our country
[+363] I felt supportive of them after finding a group with such impact and global growth... but it seems this is their end.
[+332] CEO-nim, find strength..ㅠㅠ!!!
[+330] Let's be real, they're only famous because of one damn good song... it's not because the members themselves are special or have any outstanding visuals...
[+301] Wow, that's incredibly rude of them. Find strength to the CEO.
[+271] Judging by the comments, I think the public has made their stance on this issue clear. Unless there's some deeper, inner turmoil that the public hasn't been privy to, I don't think the members are going to be able to recover their image from this without a clear cut explanation of their side of things..
[+263] They need to get one thing straight: they're not at a level where people are fans because of who they are yet. People are fans of their song, and are still in the process of getting to know who they are... don't fall for the candy that this stranger is offering ㅠㅠ
[+252] This company took some nameless kids and trained them up with a good song and now their parents are standing in the way of their future... Their parents must be deluded into thinking the members are worth more than they really are... CEO-nim, find strength!
[+227] They debuted seven months ago... How much were you expecting to be paid already? How many schedules did you even do? How many of them were even that hard? I feel like the members' parents stepped in once they got a whiff of the potential money on the table and caused this whole mess...
[+201] Their CEO sold his own car, his watch to invest more into Fifty Fifty, this is so unfortunate...
[+143] CEO-nim, find strength ㅠㅠ I feel like this will set a precedent that will make it even harder for smaller agencies to invest and train idol groups. This shows that you can do everything but still have a larger company swoop in and take it all away... It definitely feels like this group is seeing the trees and not the forest.
[+106] Their group has projected zero potential all this time, and have barely been getting interviews thanks to the fame of one song, and if they think the past seven months have been that hard, that difficult that they need to file a lawsuit... then perhaps stardom was never meant for them.
[+45] They don't seem to understand what people were supporting them for. It was for the fact that they made it despite all the odds of being from a small agency, in an industry that is designed against them, but still reached the spotlight to let their skills shine... BTS is one such example of why people support bootstrap groups. I hope this all gets resolved amicably.
[+44] They know that the lifespan of idol groups only last so long and have probably been presented with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity in terms of money... but I don't think their fans will look upon this decision favorably...
