I don't know that idols are necessarily that popular in the US or England.. ㅎ and JYP has a very specific image for their girl groups, and I don't know that the foreign market would be receptive to it..? That whole cutesy, playful image is only successful in the Asian market. JYP is going to need to completely revamp their image if they want a girl group to succeed in the US market, and they'll also need to amp up their performance and live singing skills. JYP will be in big trouble if they debut something like an innocent, girly concept and then put them in revealing clothes - everyone will call them pedos. But surely JYP has been doing their research to not completely let this become a flop, right?

[+35, -4] I think it's time that companies stop and think about what makes K-Pop what it is and its identity. As a Korean, I'm grateful to all of the companies that are creating exports with our culture, but once you start mixing in other cultures into its identity, what will make K-Pop any different than 'The Little Mermaid' with a Black lead?
[+26, -3] To be inclusive of all the diverse ethnicities that live in the US, the girl group will at least need to be made up of a White member, Hispanic, Black, and Asian.
[+8, -2] What sets the K-Pop system apart is that trainees begin training in their pre-teens and then debut by their late teens, early twenties... and you really expect American teenagers to comply with that? You expect American teen girls to submit to a Korean training system? Surely JYP's not that naive?
