'All of Us Are Dead' Im Jae Hyuk reveals he's still working to make ends meet despite drama's success !

Article: Im Jae Hyuk's mother sheds tears over son working part-time jobs to make a living despite 'All of Us Are Dead' fame

1. [+125] I think gaining all sorts of different experiences through his part-time jobs will help him become a great actor!

2. [+136] ㅋㅋㅋ I find it funny that people get all sympathetic and feel bad for actors or celebrities who have to work part-time jobs to make ends meet. Serving, delivering, convenience stores, gas stations... are all jobs that any normal young person does, and they're all worthy jobs, so I don't get why celebrities expect others to feel bad for them when they say they work those jobs too ㅋㅋ as if actors are a class above this type of work. Why should it be a sad thing that he has to work part-time jobs?

3. [+282] These comments are so harsh. He was just sharing this and that on the show, and I think it's understandable that any mother would shed a tear over hearing their son go through something like this. Try to have a more positive outlook on life before jumping down people's throats as if they've committed murder.

4. [+70] I think it's understandable that the mother is upset that their son is going through this, there's no reason to be angry about it? ㅋㅋ..

5. [+28] He's going through growth in a very proper way. I can see why his mother is upset since she probably thought he was out there doing great but he's suffering through all these jobs. I know his determination and passion will help him succeed. Find strength 🙌🔥

6. [+11] Well he wasn't a lead in the drama, so..

7. [+12] He's an actor with a great mindset

8. [+13] Suffering leads to a strong foundation for success. I think he's doing a great job working hard at life.

9. [+8] He's an amazing hard worker.. and I wish the best for him

10. [+8] An upstanding young man, I support him ❤️❤️❤️

11. [+13] I know a lot of actors get famous off of a Netflix hit but that fame usually only lasts for about three months. Unless you catapult yourself into the list of rising stars within those three months, you end up with nothing but a few extra followers on SNS. Korea's a difficult industry to break into because of how instantly people expect everything to happen, and especially with how quickly fame can wane.

12. [+4] Lee Yoomi also talked about how she used to do deliveries for CoupangEats before her 'Squid Game' fame ㅠㅠㅠ seems like all celebrities start off with obstacles in the beginning unless your looks are at the level of Won Bin, So Ji Sub, Jun Ji Hyun, or Son Ye Jin ㅠㅠㅠ

13. [+3] It's difficult for actors because they have to wait around to be cast for work. Just being a famous name doesn't guarantee a famous career.

14. [+1] I've noticed that the actors who get famous off of Netflix dramas don't necessarily get to transition that fame into more Korean dramas and CFs. Netflix is meaningless for a career in Korea. All they end up with is a lot of international followers on SNS, and it's like they got famous, but not really? Netflix fame is a bubble waiting to burst.

15. [+1] I do think a lot of the female cast members stole the show with this drama. A lot of the male actors were great, like that one guy who got infected in the broadcast room.
